Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-08 We keep this short and direct. Persian In Levels is a Persian-language learning site. We collect the bare minimum we need to run the product. We don't sell your data. Ever. What we collect When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name from Google's OAuth response. That's the identity we attach your learning progress to. While you use the site we also store: Which lessons and exercises you've completed, and your scores. Your XP total, streak count, and earned badges. Preferences you set: track (Read & Write vs. Speak only), display register, daily-goal target, sound on/off, reminder opt-in, UI language. A small in-browser session token so you stay logged in. What we do not collect To be specific, we do not collect: Passwords. Google handles authentication; we never see your password. Payment or billing information. The service is currently free during beta. Phone numbers, postal addresses, or government IDs. Precise location data (latitude/longitude). We don't ask the browser for it. Your contact list, files, photos, or anything outside the site. Browsing activity on other sites. No cross-site tracking pixels. Why we collect it Two reasons, both about making the product work for you: Identity — so your progress is yours and follows you across devices. Personalisation — so the lesson player can show you the right next step, the right level, and the right script. That's it. There's no marketing-profile use, no behavioural ad targeting, no resale. Who we share it with Nobody. We don't sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. We share data only in two narrow scenarios: With infrastructure providers strictly required to deliver the service (see "Third parties" below). They process data on our behalf, not their own. If we are legally compelled by a valid court order. We will push back on overbroad requests. Third-party services we use Google Identity Services — handles sign-in. Google sees that you're authenticating to Persian In Levels; we receive your email + name. Google's privacy policy applies to that exchange. Cloudflare Turnstile — a CAPTCHA that runs at the moment of sign-in to detect bots. It uses a privacy-respecting model — no third-party cookies, no fingerprinting your browsing history. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising networks, or any other third-party tracker on these pages. How long we keep your data We keep your account and learning history while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your personal record within 30 days. Aggregated statistics that cannot be tied back to you (e.g. "X% of learners completed lesson Y") may be retained for product analytics. Your rights You can ask us to: Show you what we have. Request a copy of your account data. Fix what's wrong. Tell us which fields look off and we'll correct them. Delete it all. Account closure removes your identity and learning history. Stop processing it. If you want to pause use without deleting, log out and your account stays inactive. Email [email protected] from the address tied to your account and we will respond within 14 days. Children's privacy Persian In Levels is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account. Cookies and local storage See our Cookie Policy for the full list. Short version: a session token, a saved theme, a saved language, and an "I dismissed the install banner" flag. Nothing tracks you across other sites. Changes to this policy If we change this policy in a way that affects your rights, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and — for material changes — show a notice in the app on your next visit. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance. Contact Persian In Levels is operated by [SITE_OWNER_NAME] in [SITE_OWNER_COUNTRY] . Privacy questions: [email protected]
