Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-08 These are the rules of using Persian In Levels. We've tried to write them in normal English. If anything's unclear, email us — we'd rather explain than hide behind legalese. 1. Acceptance of terms By signing in to Persian In Levels or using any part of the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy . If you don't agree, please don't use the service. 2. Your account Accounts are created exclusively via Google OAuth . We do not offer email-and-password signup. By signing in with Google you confirm that the Google account belongs to you and that you are at least 13 years old. You're responsible for the activity on your account. Don't share your login session with others. If you suspect unauthorised access, sign out from all devices via your Google account settings and contact us. 3. Acceptable use You agree not to: Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract our content (lessons, dictionary entries, audio) without our written permission. Reverse-engineer or attempt to bypass any rate limits, access controls, or paywalls. Upload, post, or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights. Use the service to send spam, phishing, or malware. Share, sell, or transfer your account to anyone else. Use the service in any way that interferes with the security or stability of our infrastructure. 4. Content ownership Our content Lessons, courses, dictionary entries, audio files, illustrations, and the platform itself are owned by Persian In Levels (or licensed to us by their creators). You may use them inside the product to learn Persian. You may not republish or redistribute them outside the site without permission. Your data Your learning progress, scores, badges, streak count, and saved preferences belong to you. You can request a copy or have them deleted at any time — see the Privacy Policy . 5. Service availability Persian In Levels is currently in open beta and provided on a best-effort basis. We aim for high uptime but make no guaranteed SLA. We may need to take the site down for maintenance, upgrades, or in response to security incidents. Features may change, be added, or be removed as we iterate. We'll communicate major changes through the app or via the email tied to your Google account. 6. Pricing The service is currently free during beta. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers in the future. If we do, anything you've already earned (XP, badges, progress) will remain yours, and we will give clear advance notice before gating any feature behind a paywall. 7. Termination You can stop using Persian In Levels at any time. To delete your account, see the Privacy Policy for how to request deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms — for example, automated scraping, abuse of our API, or harassment of other users. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first; serious violations result in immediate suspension. 8. Disclaimer Persian In Levels is an educational product. Completing lessons does not constitute a certified Persian-language proficiency credential. We are not affiliated with any official certifying body. The content reflects our team's best understanding of modern Persian usage but may contain errors — please send corrections to [email protected] . The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including (but not limited to) fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. 9. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Persian In Levels and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim — or, if the service was free during that period, the cost of replacement of equivalent learning material (typically a token amount). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; if you live in one of them, the limitations above apply to the maximum extent permitted by your local law. 10. Governing law These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING_LAW_JURISDICTION] , without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved by talking it through will be heard in the courts of that jurisdiction. 11. Changes to these terms We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any change. For material changes we'll show a notice in the app on your next visit. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms. 12. Contact Persian In Levels is operated by [SITE_OWNER_NAME] . Legal questions: [email protected]
